Victory Program

                         

Recently, Atlanta was noted as having the highest incidence of child trafficking  in the United States. Statistics show 1 out of every 3 children living on the streets will be become victims of human trafficking within 48 hours of running away from home. According to recent statistics, victims of domestic human trafficking are increasingly getting younger. The average age: 12-years-old.

We minister to girls NOT statistics.

When girls come into the Victory Program they are given so much more than a safe place to live. The program uses innovative counseling and education techniques to offer hope, healing and restored dignity in a holistic way. By providing counseling, group therapy, education, life skills vocational training, family reunification, as well as spiritual care, the Victory Program at Georgia Baptist Children's Homes & Family Ministries, gives these young ladies the chance for a new beginning.

 

What You Can Do:

  • Pray for the girls and the staff who care for them

  • Become a mentor

  • Become a tutor

  • Teach a life skills class (job skills, cooking, basic budgeting, etc.)

  • Teach an enrichment class (photography, crafting, journaling, etc.)

  • Host a church work-day
